OAKLAND — A man fatally shot Saturday morning in his bed at a long term care facility in Adams Point was recovering from gunshot wounds suffered in a drive-by shooting last September in Oakland that left another man dead, authorities confirmed.The man killed Saturday was identified by authorities as Paris Moffett, 23, of Oakland.Investigators have not provided a motive for the Saturday killing and are trying to determine if the two killings are related. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Strong winds caused a ground delay for incoming flights at San Francisco International Airport Tuesday morning, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. This is causing some incoming flights to be delayed for about 80 minutes.The ground delay program will meter the flights coming into SFO, similar to metering lights when going on to a bridge, Doug Yakel, a spokesperson for SFO, told KRON4. The program will cause not only flight delays but the potential for flight cancellations, Yakel said. SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KRON) -- Officers with the Santa Rosa Police Department seized eight pounds of suspected methamphetamine, two pounds of suspected cocaine and $8,000 while executing a search warrant for a drug investigation on Monday morning, according to SRPD. Additional suspected drugs packaged for sale were also located, police said.The SRPD Narcotics Team began the investigation into the drug trafficking organization in January. Monday morning, the team executed a search warrant at a home on the 2500 block of Kenton Court in Santa Rosa. Tyson Foods is closing two facilities that employ more than 1,600 people in an effort to streamline its U.S. poultry business.The company said Tuesday it plans to close its processing, broiler and hatching operations in Glen Allen, Virginia, and a plant in Van Buren, Arkansas. TORONTO (AP) — A 38-year-old Canadian man is facing murder charges after allegedly ramming a pickup truck through pedestrians in an eastern Canada town, killing two men and injuring nine people who were walking alongside a road.Police declined to comment on a possible motive for the attack Monday afternoon in the Quebec province town of Amqui, about 350 kilometers (220 miles) northeast of Quebec City.
