DENVER (KDVR) — It's proposed legislation that's drawing plenty of comment from people across the state. Lawmakers say hundreds of people signed up to speak on the bill originally designed to prohibit the sale of so-called "assault weapons" in Colorado. DENVER (KDVR) -- The Colorado Rockies lost an eighth-straight game Wednesday in front of the smallest crowd at Coors Field in a decade, outside of games with attendance restrictions.There were 18,511 people in attendance as the Rockies fell 14-3 to the Pittsburgh Pirates. The stands had not been that empty since April 18, 2013, when the crowd was 18,341. That was also the last time attendance was below 19,000.These attendance records are excluding games played during COVID restrictions in 2020 and 2021. No regular-season games had in-person fans in the 2020 season. The parent company for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care was hit by a ransomware attack this week, according to a statement from the company. Point32Health said it identified the “cybersecurity ransomware incident” on Tuesday. The company said the incident impacted systems used to service members, accounts, brokers and providers. Point32, which also serves as the parent company for Tufts Health Plan, additionally said the incident was primarily impacting systems on the Harvard Pilgrim side of its business. A man facing homicide charges in connection with a murder in Roxbury late last year appeared in Suffolk Superior Court for his arraignment Wednesday, pleading not guilty. Michael Perry, 37, is accused of killing a man he was dating on Dec. 11. Police said the man, Jose Aponte, was stabbed to death in an apartment in Roxbury. Police said Perry was holding a knife when officers arrived at the scene. Officers fired a pellet gun three times, hitting Perry once, when he didn’t drop the knife, according to police. Police said Perry then tried to jump from out a window, but got stuck when his waistband caught on the window handle. First responders later able to rescue him.
