HOUSTON – Con la llegada del fin del Título 42 esta semana, la política usada desde el inicio de la pandemia del COVID-19 para deportar inmigrantes que cruzan la frontera, se retoma el uso exclusivo del Título 8, la herramienta aplicada antes de marzo del 2020.Desde el inicio de la pandemia, las autoridades de la Patrulla Fronteriza han aplicado las dos normas consecuentemente.De hecho, el número de aprehensiones hechas bajo el Título 8 en el año fiscal 2020 fue mayor que de expulsiones hechas bajo el título 42. The City of Miami Police Department arrested 29-year-old Eric Bernard Givens after he abused his position of authority when he made inappropriate actions towards minors in an elementary school.On Friday, Givens was arrested by the City of Miami Police Department officers after detectives found out that he was connected to two separate incidents with underage girls, one of them involving rape.
