AUSTIN (KXAN) -- For nearly two decades, Rosa Jimenez has maintained her innocence. On Monday, a judge granted Jimenez' attorney's motion to dismiss charges.In 2005, Jimenez was convicted in the death of a 21-month-old child in her care in Austin. According to testimony from the original trial, the boy choked on a wad of paper towels. BENNINGTON, Vt. (NEWS10) -- A Readsboro, Vermont woman was arrested after causing a public disturbance inside Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, where according to Vermont State Police, she tried to push over a stretcher with a patient on it. WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Watervliet couple was arrested following the execution of a search warrant at the Highland Club Apartments. GLENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Glenridge Road bridge was struck Monday morning, resulting in another car being hit by debris around 7:48. Police say the top of the box was ripped off and debris hit a 2019 Jeep that was headed westbound. When Glenville Police arrived at the scene, an officer parked his marked police car with all of its emergency lights on. Glenville PD says the officer sustained a shoulder injury and was taken by a private car to Ellis Urgent Care where he is currently being evaluated. Police say there are no charges at this time. Ocean View Boulevard Bicycle Accident Injures 10-Year-Old BoySAN DIEGO, CA (August 7, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, a bicycle-auto collision on 29th Street left Je’mari Edwards with injuries.The incident occurred on August 2nd, at around 2:00 p.m., near the intersection of 29th Street and Ocean View Boulevard.According to reports, a young boy riding his bike eastbound in an alley exited onto the street. Subsequently, the boy collided with the side of a southbound vehicle.The investigators are working to determine if the boy’s inability to hit the brakes caused the collision. Additionally, police determined that the boy was not wearing protective gear at the time of the collision.The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.At this time, 10-year-old Je’mari Edwards is recovering at Rady Children’s Hospital for minor injuries.
